This exhibit is only about 4,300 sq. ft. in size, making it one of the absolute smallest polar bear enclosures in North America. However, do the more than 4 million annual visitors truly care how large the habitat is? I think not.
This exhibit disappointed me. It is, frankly, a throwback. I thought then, and still do, that it might have been more use as an extension to the Walrus exhibit.
Visitors to the Zoo don't have any penguins to look at - would visitors to SeaWorld really mind id they couldn't see Polar Bears?
