Wild Arctic - Polar Bear Exhibit

July 25th, 2011.
This exhibit is only about 4,300 sq. ft. in size, making it one of the absolute smallest polar bear enclosures in North America. However, do the more than 4 million annual visitors truly care how large the habitat is? I think not.;)

This exhibit disappointed me. It is, frankly, a throwback. I thought then, and still do, that it might have been more use as an extension to the Walrus exhibit.

Visitors to the Zoo don't have any penguins to look at - would visitors to SeaWorld really mind id they couldn't see Polar Bears?

If Sjenza has a cub, I do feel sorry this will be its home. However, it was between this or the fake rocks at Pittsburgh (although roomier there).
