You are both right! I believe that this orang/chimp complex was built about 30 years ago, and while the chimp exhibit is average at best the orang area is quite lush and just jam-packed with climbing opportunities. The major downside to my visit was that the majority of the apes were indoors and those huge viewing windows were all misted up.
