African Veldt - Giraffe In Ditch

I'm guessing she wasn't meant to be there?

A keeper came over to tell the gathering crowd that this particular giraffe had somehow managed to get itself into the ditch on numerous occasions, but it always managed to get out without any trouble. The other giraffes apparently never attempt such a trick!

Interesting. I was thinking it was almost part of their design to have giraffes closer to visitor. Talk about an improv. giraffe feeding.

I visted the zoo today, and found the giraffe in this same position. I immediatly thought of this picture

Now it is 2 years later and I'm curious to know whether the old "giraffe in a ditch" trick is still a regular occurrence!
