With Lake Michigan in the background the Oceanarium has a beautiful backdrop. Definitely one of the biggest and best indoor dolphin pools on the planet.
With their renovation of the Oceanarium, Shedd can now drop an enormous shade screen that doubles as a video projection surface, to really highlight the animals and performances, and (I think) then dramatically be lifted to reveal the incredible lake view after shows are over.
