Its natural. Silver Springs is an old 1950s roadside attraction, like the ones that littered Florida before Disney opened and all the tourism converged in Orlando. The main attraction is the springs and the glass-bottom boats. Over the years, seperate attractions sprung up nearby...Ross Allen Insititute, Car Museum, Deer Park, etc. Over time it all fell apart, until a new owner bought them all up and put together a nostalgic florida amusement park.
This picture shows a stream between the main park and what is the old Ross Allen Institute.
Has anybody visited the park recently, i visited over 10 years ago and saw my first Kodiak and spectacled bear, gerenuk, banteng, alligator snapping turtle and a few species of crocodilian here, lovely spot, but looking at the current park map, the animal keeping seems to have been cut back.
