National Zoo - Clouded Leopard Exhibit

July 2008. Large, full of climbing opportunities, and similar in size and design to San Diego's clouded leopard mesh enclosure.

too bad it wasn't finished when I was there.

I just found out that the exhibit used to have a thinner mesh which made it easier to take photos, but was changed when the leopards chewed through the mesh and where out for about 30 mins.

Thanks for the info Mario, and that's a funny story. I have a hard time choosing between San Diego and the National Zoo for the best clouded leopard exhibit that I've ever seen. I think that San Diego is slightly ahead.
