I am fascinated by the hotwire on the OUTSIDE of the enclosures. Obviously it is meant to deter foxes / raccoons / cats but how high is that fence? Predators would need to be exceptionally determined to get in there even without hotwire. I like the shots showing apparently quite young wisteria growing alongside the concrete fencing posts, but would much have preferred to have seen wooden trellises used, fundamentally for aesthetic reasons.
I would imagine that this hotwire is more to prevent people from getting in than foxes and the like, to be honest, for the fence is indeed high enough to stand in the way of most jumping carnivores. I just hope the possibility of them digging under the fence was also thought out, and measures made accordingly.
