Apr 09 - Amazonia

When I went to the zoo I spent about 15 minutes looking for these guys inside Amazonia with no luck.

Just a very lucky day, there were two sitting on the branches of a small tree at the top of the stairs. Tigers were very active as were th gorillas, seeing the baby gorilla and the baby anteater was a great treat.
 
ok...when they imported them? cause i know that the SSP and EEP decided that SSP will get grey titis and EEP red titis....but that was more than 3 years ago
 
There is one left, signed as coppery titi in the Small Mammal House. It's about 30 years old, according to a volunteer I spoke with. I believe it's the only one in the US.

I thought the ones in the amazonia were red bellied tit monkey? Coppery titi are a completely different species.
