No - there is just a view over to them from the main pathway. It's only really to let people know they are doing it - the main manatee display with the long-term residents is around the corner.

Also, have you noticed the similarity between the maps of San Diego Zoo and this one? Same marketing company perhaps?
Definitely. Also London's new map, and several other zoos - they're attractive maps, but I miss having the specific enclosure shapes labelled and they don't tend to show all the animals!
