Fossa/Lemur pens

Is this as close to the Madagascar cages as the public is able to get? How many enclosures are there in this photo?

This photo shows the lemur holding pens - two or three pens for ring-tailed lemur groups and one or two pens for ruffed lemurs. Just to the left of these holding pens is the Lemur Island - and interactive exhibit where guests can get up close with the ring-tailed lemurs and hand-feed them (for an additional fee). To the right of the holding pens is the ruffed lemur island, where red ruffed and black and white ruffed lemurs are on display. On the backside of this building is one other Madagascar native - the fossa.
