Myself + Ring-Tailed Lemurs (Tanganyika Wildlife Park, USA)

Aug. 12th, 2014.
I know that in recent years both Omaha and SDZ Safari Park have both opened walk-through lemur exhibits but can you actually feed the animals at those zoos? At Tanganyika there are more than 20 ring-tailed lemurs that are in 3 rotating groups and visitors can pay a couple of bucks to have a few "craisins" to feed the animals.

If lemurs ever mutate and develop a taste for human flesh then this exhibit concept is likely doomed. Until that time though, it looks like it is pretty popular.

When my daughter was here a couple years ago feeding the lemurs a mother with a tiny infant clinging to her jumped up on my daughters lap and just sat there for about 5 minutes - needless to say it made quite the impression on her and she still tells me it was one of the best animal experiences she has had (and she has had many!)

Many European zoos have walk through Lemur exhibits; I have never been to one that allows you to touch them!
