Yeah, there were a whole lot of people asking why they were there in the first place. :) Well, at least the younger kids like them!

But I do think the exhibit is only temporary.

TMA is a VERY small facility. They cannot easily have "blockbuster" exhibits, so they do lean on special temporary exhibits each summer.
The orgnization's focus is appreciation for, and advocacy for the ecosystems of the Long Island Sound... but they do go beyond that as well.

Being pessimistic, I was able to find bad news in good news: The meerkats have been allowed to stay at Maritime until Labor Day, though they should have left in February. The bad news? They're leaving some day...:(
