Maryland Wilderness: Best Otter Exhibit?

I would put this above the National Zoo's otter exhibit which I visited the week before.

Looks stunningly good! Great shot too!

Thanks. This doesn't even show the whole exhibit, there's a decent amount more left out, there's also 2 more viewing spots including an underwater tunnel, which should be cleaner, but is still cool. I'm obviously a big fan of this, and the rest of Maryland Wilderness for that matter.

So you should be!

I have complimented on your great photos before and I will do it again! You are a most welcome new member here at ZooChat, your pictures are brilliant, highly informative and I appreciate them a lot. It is almost as if we have gotten "another snowleopard" here at the site!

Keep up the good work and show us as much more of it as possible! :):):)

Thanks again Dan. I should be going to Philadelphia soon, after that, the Bronx is the only zoo I'm sure, and that's obviously been well represented already. Baltimore Aquarium as well, although, I'm not nearly as good at taking pictures in those conditions.

If that underwater tunnel has decent viewing of the Otters, then this is quite some habitat for them.

I change my mind on the best otter exhibit. I think I'm in love, this is the greatest otter exhibit ever...makes me want to go to Maryland to see it... =O

This does look amazingly good (and if anyone has some more pictures please post them), but I must ask whether there is any natural substrate elsewhere in the exhibit - entirely concrete land areas in aquatic mammal exhibits is a pet peeve of mine!

Very sensible objection of course. BTW, I think I read another objection somewhere here at the ZooChat - that the land areas are to small.
