North American River Otter exhibit in Childrens Zoo. As I had only two and a half hour for the entire zoo (it also closes as early as 16.00) and found myself very fascinated by both African Journey and Polar Bear Watch, my time was limited to mere twenty minutes or so in a childrens zoo claimed by some to be the best in America.

Best otter exhibit I've been to and I've visited DC, Columbus, KC, SD, and Shedd among other contenders.

Fantastic otter exhibits are a dime a dozen in American zoos, and there must be at least 20 really great enclosures in the country. However, the Maryland Zoo definitely has one of the best inside their children's zoo.

Too bad the Jacksonville Zoo's best otter exhibit(the NA river otters) is now a penguin enclosure. I rather see the otters come back home where they belong. :/
