Of the innumerable terrific otter exhibits in American zoos this one might well be one of the very best. However, there is a major flaw that concerns the underwater viewing tunnel (glimpsed in this photo towards the back of the pool). The tunnel stops in a dead-end, forcing visitors to turn around and head back along the same path that they came through. This understandably creates horrific traffic jams on busy days, especially with strollers and kids speeding in all directions.
