Interesting mix, I suppose the 2 species keep out of each others way by utilising different parts of the exhibit.

Certainly the hyrax showed a distinct preference for the very top of the exhibit on our visits to the enclosure.

It looks as if there's access to an outside area- presumably during warmer days than this. I wonder if both species use it?

In my experience they've shown that preference wherever they're exhibited (except when they had an open-topped actual rock face at Edinburgh).
