There are currently three foals in the herd, the youngest of which was born at the beginning of the week last week and is pictured here. Several other mares are heavily pregnant and due any day now.
They do, indeed! In addition to both of these species, the Sichuan takin herd is also held in this pasture (due to the fact that they are very strong swimmers, they also have access to several other pastures). The species in the pastures at The Wilds are not grouped geographically, by any means.
