Binturong Exhibit

Doesn't look like a very good exhibit. Is this permanent?

Yes, it is permanent and the entire zoo has been built in the last 2 years so everything you see in the photos is almost brand-new. It is all very much home-made and utilitarian, as well as the fact that basically every single exhibit is too small for its occupants.

Believe it or not, it's better (more spacious and lighted) than my zoo's binturong exhibit.

Damn that's brutal.

This would be alright for a small group of songbirds or a reptile, but the binturong is almost half as long as the cage! Damn! These animals should have at least a half acre.

Not for a moment defending Timbavati here but I think you'll be hard-pressed finding a half-acre binturong exhibit.
