Nice to see the Toledo Zoo provide it's public with information about an important breeding-programm with such a 'none-name-animal' which this toad is for most zoo-visitors.
I can't however beliefe that 1/2 the world-population is in this one room ( would also not be very smart ) because a large number has been released into the 'wild' and the Bronx also has a good population of them.

You are quite right!With reintroduction having occured in Tanzania through the breeding efforts of both the Bronx Zoo and the Toledo Zoo.It would perhaps be more accurate to say about one quarter to possibly one third of the world population reside in this room Nonetheless its a wonderful accomplishment and its great that Toledo is educating the public on its conservation efforts!By the way the zoo also has a a lab set for the Wyoming Toad which they are also having success with.
