It is almost identical to a temporary penguin exhibit at North Carolina Aquarium (Pine Knoll Shores) and is indeed mediocre. It is located across from the giraffes and I believe that it was a quick summer rental to boost attendance. Lord knows Topeka Zoo needs some kind of boost!

I'm glad you said that, I was having terrible deja vu!

This was a temporary, pre-built exhibit that came in and the penguins were on loan from another zoo. This exhibit has now moved on to another zoo. The company that designed it says it holds 4-6 penguins.
