Map of Wildlife Woods (Paul Bunyon's Forest Camp)

Aug. 3rd, 2015.
When this park was developed in the late 1990s-early 2000s they originally planned an elaborate river otter exhibit and other animal exhibits. Budget problems cancelled those plans, but it looks like they are slowly bringing back the idea of a wildlife area.

Thanks for that information. Interestingly enough I chatted with a couple of workers while I was there and basically every single outdoor exhibit in this section of the park is brand new. Also, to help boost attendance a Sheraton Hotel is opening right next door to the Paul Bunyon camp and hopefully the establishment will see a boost in visitor numbers. Lastly, a keeper told me that Turtle Bay cannot obtain any more animals because the facility is at its maximum limit with its "animal to keeper ratio" and a new employee or two would need to be hired before any more captive animals would be allowed on the premises. I'd never heard of that before!
