You are right about the Western Pond Turtles, which were in several locations. That species was one that I seemed to come across just about every single day on my 81 zoo road trip; along with Bobcats, Red-Tailed Hawks, Llamas, Emus and Ring-Tailed Lemurs.

Are you talking about turtles in general or Western Pond Turtles specifically that you saw in most of your road trip zoos? I think that Western Pond Turtles are found mainly in West Coast zoos.
