Arizona Docent 21 Apr 2011 Wow - I didn't know any American zoos other than Bronx (and Six Flags theme park) had underwater tiger viewing. Is this exhibit new?

JaxElephant 21 Apr 2011 I'm sure Busch Gardens Tampa has an underwater viewing for their tigers as well.

Baton Rouge Zoo in Louisiana has two new tiger exhibits (Malayan and Sumatran) and both have underwater viewing. There are some photos in the "other" section of the American gallery, and the "Realm of the Tiger" complex opened there in early 2010.

Arizona Docent 22 Apr 2011 No, Houston has a very large moat in front of their tiger (and lion) exhibits, but it is all above ground viewing.
