Great memory to bring up my wife's favourite animal! Jackson Zoo in Mississippi also has an enormous tree in its red panda exhibit, and at both Virginia and Jackson the red pandas have full access to towering trees.
The fact that you can get fairly close to them on some days and on others they have the opportunity to climb and explore their expansive exhibit we would prefer this over Detroit.However both are stellar exhibits and we would throw Knoxville into the mix as well.
