How did you like Wildlife Safari compared to the San Diego Wild Animal Park? Is it a similar experience in terms of being able to enjoy big animals like giraffes, elephants, and rhinos in wide open spaces?
How did you like Wildlife Safari compared to the San Diego Wild Animal Park? Is it a similar experience in terms of being able to enjoy big animals like giraffes, elephants, and rhinos in wide open spaces?
Wildlife Safari is not even in the same league as the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and there are many forgettable exhibits in that Oregon attraction. However, it was neat to drive-through the large-scale field habitats, even though many of them feature only small groups of hoofstock. There are a lot of elands, zebras and llamas and the grizzly bear area is interesting to see. It is still the only drive-through zoo that I've ever visited and the park has had a lot of success with breeding cheetahs.
