Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit

Aug. 3rd, 2011.
I wonder when they moved the lemur exhibit. They had such a nice little island before. No wires. Of course, this one in the photograph will mean the bottom of the exhibit (the island part) won't get overrun by ducks when it rains and turns the island into a pond.

There is still a ring-tailed lemur exhibit that is on an island, and this is a second exhibit at the zoo. Wildlife World has many animals in more than one exhibit, especially some of the aesthetically ugly wire cages with primates and birds.

I knew they had some animals in more than one exhibit, but I honestly didn't know they had this caged lemur exhibit. I wonder if this is where they put the single lemur who lived near the old east entrance... <sigh> I may have to pay a visit out there soon.
