This is the brand new exhibit which houses one black jaguar. Sadly the old exhibit (which is too small) is still in use with two jaguars (one black, one yellow).

While there is a vast animal collection at this facility, and many enjoyable sections, do you think that there is a single exhibit that is top-class? I'm not sure that there is one, apart from a few spacious ungulate paddocks and some of the larger reptile terrariums. Is there still an endless number of small wire bird aviaries all over the grounds?
Yes I cannot think of any zoo for which I have such mixed feelings. Not only are there tons of small bird cages that have been there forever, there are several in the new Safari Park area as well. The Safari Park has these beautiful large ungulate yards with grass, trees, water, some decent carnivore yards also with grass and trees, and then these pet-shop style bird cages lining the path. And the row of old cement and chain link monkey cages in the original section is nothing short of appalling. I went because I needed baby mountain lion photos, and I got some good ones, but I honestly do not know if I will ever return.
