Flying Squirrel Exhibit (A 4-Foot Paradise!)

Aug. 3rd, 2014.
I rather think a flying squirrel would squeeze straight through the mesh of that larger enclosure/fence.

The cage for the flying squirrel is the 4-foot x 3-foot box in the foreground. I believe that the barrier in the background is there to fence off surrounding forest from the main zoo grounds. As for Wisconsin having any form of zoo licensing system I must admit that of the 12 zoos I've seen in that huge state there are 3 (Wildwood Wildlife Park, Timbavati Wildlife Park and Alligator Alley) that are amongst the all-time worst that I've visited in my 250 zoo tours. None of those zoos are even remotely close to AZA-accreditation although Wildwood is ZAA accredited (a secondary organization).
