As is shown in this photo, the zoo's 3 bears take turns anticipating a visitor forking over a dollar to purchase a bottle of "Bear Juice". I would guess that the drink is some kind of sweet-tasting liquid as I was followed up and down the cage by a couple of bears as they expected me to feed them. Interestingly enough, visitors simply lean over the wooden barrier and place the entrance of the bottle against tiny holes in the metal and the bears slurp it down. The exhibit itself is rather horrendous (all cement floor and rock wall) but this was one of the most popular sections of the zoo.
@snowleopard This enclosure isn't here anymore, I don't think (the angle makes it hard to tell). This zoo has clearly been modernizing over the last few years, they still have plenty of terrible enclosures but they appear to be replacing them when they can.
