Wow, this is an incredible jaguar exhibit and miles better than Miami's! I like the small climbing structure up by the glass.

I uploaded quite a few photos of the enclosure, including one from just about every conceivable angle. I think that it is either #1 or #2 in the country, but Jacksonville's 2 exhibits and 8 jaguars takes some beating. It's a close call.:)

From photos I seem to like this enclosure more. Woodland Park has only 2 jaguars which is much more fitting considering jaguars are solitary animals.

Apparently there are more than 1,500 plants of over 100 different varieties in the enclosure, plus a very deep pool that unfortunately I've never seen a jaguar in! There are two cats, a male and a female, and they rotate in the exhibit. Another outstanding habitat at a world class zoo, and hopefully the new penguin enclosure carries on the tradition of terrific, award-winning exhibits.

I think I can honestly say that this is the best piece of landscaping design I have ever seen! I have actually spent at least an hour looking at these new photos of this exhibit, today!

Does anybody know which company designed it?

The Portico Group from Seattle designed the jaguar exhibit, along with the award-winning rainforest building.
