Somewhat amazingly I have seen a jaguar on all 7 visits to the Woodland Park Zoo in 2009, and there is a male and female that are rotated on exhibit. The great thing about this fairly new enclosure (opened in 2003) is that it is located directly at the entrance of the Rainforest zone of the zoo, so it is easy enough for a vistor to quickly nip in and look for the jaguar without actually walking through the entire Rainforest trail loop. On many trips to the zoo my wife and I pop in and search for the cat twice, doubling our chances of finding an animal amongst the lush foliage of this brilliant habitat.
