Orangutan Exhibit - Indoor Viewing

The indoor areas are a labyrinth of ropes and vines, and for at least half of the year it seems as if the red apes are more than content to remain indoors and avoid their massive outdoor exhibits. The zoo's visitors are still outside, but under cover and in a covered walkway that allows for viewing in poor weather conditions. There are two viewing areas for orangutans, and also covered indoor areas for Indian pythons and siamangs all in the same Trail of Vines zone of the zoo.
