On my last two visits to the Woodland Park Zoo there has been a keeper in with the pair of Arctic wolves, and both times she spent time chatting to the animals and tossing food around their enclosure. At one point she came quite close to the wolves, but never actually made physical contact on either occasion. The wolf in this photo is looking off into the distance, but there is actually a large elk paddock directly behing the wolf enclosure. Yummy!
