I don't think this was there when I visited (or if it was, I don't remember). This is a great looking wild dog exhibit. Now that is how you make a rock wall along the back of an exhibit that actually does not look like a wall!
This opened in 2002, and it is probably double the size of what is shown in this photo. There are caves in the back walls, a huge termite mound, and the recreation of a dry riverbed that is all home to 3 brothers. There are at least 3 viewing angles from above, along with a small cave with windows and another wide glass viewing area adjacent to the lion enclosure.
