Walk-Through Waterfowl Aviary

May 2009.
These were among the first exhibits I encountered at WPZ. The aviaries there are an underrated and overlooked strong point at an already terrific zoo.
 
@Blackduiker: since your visit in 1996 there have been loads of new exhibits: Jaguar Cove, Humboldt penguins, komodo dragons, African wild dogs, flamingos, Bugworld, African Village, Zoomazium, etc. Come back anytime!:)
 
I'm sorry but I cannot remember the species here, but I do know that there are a few duck species.
 
This information is extrapolated from some information pulled off of the Woodland Park Zoo's website and mixed with a little bit of personal memory, so I make no claims as to its current accuracy, but the species list is something like this:

Green heron
Black-crowned night heron
North American wood duck
Pintail
Bufflehead duck
Smew
Hooded merganser
