Even the aviaries at Woodland Park Zoo look a step above the rest.

This hornbill exhibit is in an area called "Conservation Aviaries" in the Temperate Forest zone of the zoo. That area has a children's farm, a small insect house, a few exhibits for mammals (Japanese serow, red panda, pudu) and a number of aviaries for endangered birds. Like just about everything at Woodland Park the enclosures are lush, green, and used to a higher than normal amount of rainfall!:)
