Steller's Sea Eagle Aviary

We recently sent our pair up there from Los Angeles.

I didn't realize that they had left LA. They were majestic birds. Unfortunately their aviary was pretty small relative to their size.

Sorry to see Sun Wukong's obnoxious comment above. I would have responded that they were my eagles too (and mstickmanp's and every other member and fan of the LA Zoo), but fortunately he won't be around to bother us anymore.

I had totally ignored Sun Wukong's snide comment until just now. And as a member of GLAZA for over 40 years, I do consider them mine and every other regular visitor's to the Los Angeles Zoo. I'm sure that's how almost everyone at ZooChat feels about the animal collection at their local home zoo as well. And that doesn't mean feeling free to walk away with one either. It's the emotional attachment I'm referring to.
