Jaguar Exhibit

Great looking habitat and viewing area.

Wow, this is amazing! I knew they had a good exhibit, but I don't think I have seen a photo from this angle. As a cat lover, I must go someday.

The one time I was there, this exhibit was under construction.

I was only there once, and that was back in 1996. I hope to get up there again someday.

I can just imagine the crowds that will be congregating when the trio of cubs go on exhibit. Here is a link that shows more than 15 terrific photos of the youngsters during their first few steps outside:

I couldn't get you any photos of the trio of cubs as the crowds were pressing in from all angles, but needless to say they are extremely cute and on my visit yesterday they spent a long time near the vast viewing windows. The pool has been drained, as has the stream that trickles through the habitat, as the cubs are still very young and the last thing the zoo would want to happen is to lose one to an accidental drowning.

Incidentally, elsewhere in the zoo the 4 lion cubs are now 7 months old and beginning to resemble their parents in terms of both muscle strength and laziness!
