Australian Aviary

Well this is an inadequate bear exhibit. Those birds better watch out! In all honesty, I enjoy going through your photos and I hope I can visit after the sloth bear and Sumatran tiger exhibits are completed.

Everyone knows this picture is mislabled ...... right ?

This is one of their indoor bird exhibits. Other pictures of this exhibit can be found in the Woodland Park Zoo gallery.

And you can also see pictures in the gallery of the zoo's large natural grizzly habitat.

Grizzly Bear Exhibit

It is. The other thing could be a Kookaburra, which has obviously eaten the bear.

I guess when you upload more than 20,000 photos to ZooChat there is bound to be at least one with a wrong label.:) I believe that the 3 species in this aviary are: Kookaburra, Masked Lapwing and Blue-Faced Honeyeater. On a side note, due to there being a 6-month period when the ZooChat gallery was not working properly there are a number of Woodland Park photo duplicates and I think that this specific photo was uploaded during that time-frame.

I do apologize if I came off as a little snarky. I was just trying to have a little fun. As I mentioned in my above post, I do appreciate all the photos that you, snowleopard, have posted for this zoo, along with the many others!
