Just as the zoo was preparing to open the exhibit to the public the male and female had 4 pups in 2013...and then another 4 about a year later. There are currently 10 otters in the enclosure, which makes for a terrifically entertaining exhibit!
Yeah this was a beautiful exhibit when it opened based on photos from the zoo blog. It was a terrific exhibit to see the otters at when I visited Seattle last summer.
