The different colored sections reminds me of how the Saint Louis Zoo map used to look. Is the North Meadow where they have events? I just see that empty space and wonder if they would ever build exhibits on it. Thanks for all these updated photos!

I'm a huge fan of the new Woodland Park Zoo map and you are right that it does have some resemblance to the Saint Louis Zoo one. The North Meadow hosts a series of concerts every summer, as well as special events like Bunny Bounce (Easter) and Mom & Me (Mother's Day). It is actually a great space and one that will likely never be significantly disturbed by any type of development.
