The zoo is only about 35 acres (which might be the same size of London Zoo) and is well laid out. I've said on here before that I feel as if Zoo Atlanta doesn't really have a single horrible exhibit, but they don't have any brilliant ones either. It doesn't take long to see it all, and the blue section on the map is basically all children's related exhibits and playgrounds. The left hand side of the map is where the vast majority of the major animal habitats are, and the zoo is not strictly circular but it leans that way. Oval-like maybe?
The elephant exhibit looks quite small relative to other exhibits. How does it compare with the modern wave of large elephant exhibits...is it adequate or will they need to expand or send away their eles eventually?
