Zoo Atlanta - Warthog Exhibit

August 2008. Opened in 2007.

I thought that the meekat shared the exhibit with the warthogs.

No, the meerkat exhibit is much smaller but is adjacent to the warthog paddock. Both enclosures were built in 2007 and are quite good.

I think I heard on the website that they are going to have the warthogs in the bongo habitat until next spring because of heavy construction next to the exhibit.Also,not to sound sided again but I think i like Toronto's habitat alot better as they have more room and they can graze but I think this one depicts a desert,not Kenya

The Toronto Zoo does have an excellent warthog habitat, and it has much more long grass in it than Zoo Atlanta's exhibit.

You dont see too many suid exhibits that big.

I like the viewing area platform. It let's you get up close, but safe.
