I know the photo is bad quality but does anyone know what type of viper this is?

Looks like Trimeresurus mangshanensis, The Mang Mountain Pit Viper.

Looking at other images,i would certainly agree with you Ituri,its not listed at all under ISIS,but we all know how vague they can be.

I will be going to Atlanta in the not too distant future so i will make sure i find out this time. ;)
 
It is a Mt. Mang Pit Viper, aka Chinese Mountain Pit Viper. ISIS lists this species as Zhaoermia mangshanensis so that might be why you had trouble finding it.

You didn't happen to be asking about Tentacled Snakes at one point right? It would've been funny if we had spoken at the zoo and not realized.

No it wasnt me at the zoo,well not talking about Tentacled Snakes anyway,yep that would have bizarre. :eek:
