Boise would have the proper climate for them there again. The only zoo I've ever visited with Moose was San Diego, and that was many years ago. Our Southern California Sun just doesn't suit them.
Our lone male was shipped off to Northwest Trek in Washington state. This exhibit has been demolished and replaced with an African grassland exhibit for giraffes and Grevy's zebra.
