Looks very cramped, but at the very least as a decent amount of water for the pygmy hippopotamus.

It's a bad angle to show the size of the two pens...I was trying to capture the unique barrier design.

"unique" is one way to put it....
"God-awful" is more accurate

I would'nt say it's "god-awful". It could use some work and is not as nice as the San Diego Pygmy Hippo exhibit, but its not bad. Cleveland Zoo had a really bad Pygmy Hippo exhibit, much worse than this, but their Pygmy Hippo past away in early 2008

Blackrhino, I believe reduakari was using the term "godawful" about the barrier design, not the exhibit as a whole...

The exhibit itself is rather large for a pygmy hippo exhibit.
