I'm always amazed at the fact that I've been to exactly 50 zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks throughout North America, and now 70 worldwide...and only twice ever have I seen Asiatic black bears. Miami Metrozoo and Denver Zoo (including cubs there in 2006), and that's all folks as these gorgeous animals are being gradually phased out of North American collections.
