That my friend is a crocodile monitor

Thanks for the identification, and I can always count on fellow ZooChatters to I.D. the more obscure reptiles and birds that I'm not familiar with. That crocodile monitor was enormous and actually looked like a komodo dragon from a distance!

They are the longest of all the lizard species.
