There were no signs anywhere, and since Amazon and Beyond had literally opened the morning that I had arrived perhaps there are a few kinks that still need to be worked out. The bats that I saw were definitely not very large, but I have no idea which of the hundreds of South American species they were. I know that the tiny nation of Trinidad and Tobago, with its limited mammal species, has around 65 types of bat...and so all of South America must have a staggering number of species.
What a truly awful exhibit. Very disappointing to see the crude details and lack of thought about relections and other basics in what shuld have been a great addition to the zoo
