A Sarus Crane in the superb Wings of Asia aviary.

Honestly, I'm amazed they have those in the walk-through aviary. They kind of frighten me a little.

Yeah, cranes are scary in walk-through aviary. Can't Sarus Cranes get to over 6 ft high?

Melbourne Zoo has Brolgas in their walk through asia and they aen't shy and will walk right up to the boardwalk.

I remember the brolgas in Melbourne and they can get quite large, and the sarus cranes in Miami are massive so it is a little weird having them in front of visitors with zero barriers. At the Phillip Island Wildlife Park near Melbourne I was surrounded by 3 emu, who can be handfed and are a little intimidating as well.
